⚡HooPNoticA⚡

If chaos is a work of art, then my heart is a masterpiece.

In a world that brings too much confusion, music is a release.
With music comes flow, with flow comes dance, and with dance a birth of type inhaled me. Hooping.


Hula Hooping started when I was young like all young girls, introduced at either a birthday party or in gym class in elementary school.

We all start out as shaking our little hips to bring about the circle into full swing. It looks easy on others but our rhythm hasn't begun yet.

But don't give up at the first few tries. NOPE NOPE NOPE  
Just like life giving us obstacles that leave us thinking "others can do it, why can't I?"
                                                           You can!!
Ain't no doubt about it! Anything can be a challenge if you allow it.
ANYTHING is possible if you work toward it and believe it.

Many days and nights I practiced new tricks and failed many times. I have came near breaking points where it seems impossible...
Telling myself if I was more skinny, more flexible, more bendable, more healthy, had more time..
Excuses, excuses.. (DON'T LISTEN TO THEM!!)
But meditating on the belief I can and I will is a huge inspiration. Knowing that we all had to start somewhere and I am not alone.

Like all things of art, music and dance is a form of flow.
Once you gain a comfortable rhythm that goes with your body's vibe, you will feel on top of the world and everything will flow at your finger tips!!

SALADEXTRAVVVAGANZA!

For the past 2 years I started making mason jar salads to take to work and to have on the go. These are especially great for when you can prepare your lunches ahead of time!!
At the beginning of the week I give myself about 1-3 hours from prep to finish for these sweet awesome salads! I like to change things up each week and try different combinations.
Some salads are eh...
Some are FANTASTICO!!!
It's just some trial and error with each new thing!
I hope you find some you like and try a mason jar salad out this week!
I first started doing salads in a jar with old spaghetti jars and now I have moved on to the ol' Mason Jar greatness!

in jar 1: quinoa
              mixed corn,green peas
              mandarin oranges
              spinach
              romaine lettuce
in jar 2: quinoa
              mixed veggies corn, carrot, peas, green beans
              cucumber
              olives

Fun, Yummy and beautiful smoothie bowls

One of my new favorite breakfast loves is combining blended smoothie fruit with more fruit! 
FRUUUUUUUUUUUUUITASTIC!
Pretty simple easy and fun:




Blend the fruits you love in a smoothie, pour in a little bit of almond, coconut or soy milk to get the creamy effect and lay it out in a bowl and top with your favorite fruits and even some granola!
I like to get crazy and sprinkle on some Chia seeds!
Chaaaa chaaa CHIA!

Some Fun facts about Chia Seeds:
*Contains 5x more calcium than milk
*GREAT source of protein
*SUPER food for the brain and heart
*Contains 3x more iron than spinach
*GLUTEN FREE

So now you know a little sumpin sumpin! Chia seeds can absolutely be added to almost anything!!!

    Berry Banana Smoothie 
* 2 frozen bananas
* 1 cup of almond milk
* 1 cup of mixed frozen strawberries & blueberries
<Blend Well>



 Raspberry Oatmeal Smoothie
* 1 cup of ice
* 1/2 cup of frozen raspberries
* 1/2 cup plain lowfat yogurt
<3 1 banana
* 1/2 cup old-fashioned rolled oats
* 1 tablespoon of honey
* 1 cup of coconut water or other liquid 
<Blend Well>

The start of Berry Banana Smoothie 

The Start of Slammin Greens Smoothie 
2 -3 handfulls of spinach 1 cup of almond milk 1-2 bananas 1 1/2 cup frozen strawberries 1 cup of frozen blueberries 1 tblsp. chia seeds (I just barely started using chia seeds as of 3 months ago) its amazing!!!!


 Blueberry Banana Smoothie 
*2 frozen bananas
* 1 cup of frozen blueberries
* 1 cup of almond milk
* 1 tbsp of protein powder
* 1 tsp of chia seeds

Tri Berry Smoothie 
(Bottom Layer)
* 1 frozen banana
* 1/4 cup of almond milk
(Middle Layer)
* 4 frozen strawberries
* 1/2 frozen banana
* 1/4 cup coconut milk
 (Top Layer) 
* 1/2 cup frozen blue berries
* 1/2 frozen banana
* 1/4 cup of coconut milk 
<Blend Well Seperately)

 Easy Smeezy Spinach berry smoothie 
* 2 cups of fresh organic baby spinach
*1 cup of almond milk
* 1 banana, 1 banana frozen (equals 2)
* 1 cup of mixed berries
* 1 tsp chia seeds 
(Blend Well)

 Banana Berry Pumpkin Smoothie
* 1 cup of almond milk
* 1 scoop of protein powder
 * 2 frozen bananas
*1/2 cup frozen cherries
2 cubes of frozen pumpkin pie mix
blend into awesomeness



 Pumpkin Banana Smoothie
* 3 Frozen bananas
* 1 cup of almond milk
* 2 cubes of frozen pumpkin pie 

 Peach-Banana PB Smoothie 
* 1 cup of frozen peaches
* 2 tbsp of Peanut Butter (or almond butter)
* 2 frozen bananas
* 1 cup of almond milk
